"the shock doctrine" tells the story of how we got here and milton friedman played a big role in that story. not because his ideas were so original, but he took that tradition to the masses. he was the one who did the 10 part series on pbs. he had that incredible talent for writing and taking economics to a public audience. he was a political adviser to many governments. the focus of the book is much
